TRANSFER OWNERSHIP

Financial members with an AABMGS registered stud are responsible for providing registration or transfer documents for all animals that are registered with AABMGS or sold as eligible for registration with AABMGS.

Transfers can be made to other members and non-members. Animals may be transferred as a registered animal or a pet. Progeny of a pet animal cannot be registered later.

It is the responsibility of the member selling or transferring the animal to submit the transfer form below to the Registrar within 14 days of the exchange of ownership of the animal. After a transfer has been processed, ownership information is recorded in Premium Breed and a new registration certificate is issued showing the new owner. If the new owner is a member then the registration can later be transferred to another buyer (member or non-member).
